PWR Bikes SuperBolt is an e-Balance Bike… for training, of course

Tips & Reviews

If your kid has mastered a non-powered balance bike, PWR Bikes says their motorized SuperBolt will take their handling to the next level. And, honestly, it’s kinda hard to argue with that logic.

After all, many of the best mountain bikers also hone their high speed skills on motos, so, why not get them started even younger?

The SuperBolt uses an 18-volt brushless motor and swappable batteries to deliver 45-70 minutes of run time depending on which speed you set it on. There are three options – Low, Mid, and Hi.

In Low Speed, young riders can get used to the assist moving them along at up to 5mph. Mid Speed bumps that to 7.5mph, and Hi Speed caps out at 11mph.

Reining it all back in is a rear drum brake with left-hand lever, which is a bit backward for most riders. But the right-hand grip is where the throttle is, so probably best not to put too much control in a single hand for young riders who should be more focused on just learning to control the bike.
