The PNW Loam Grip is a great way to hold onto your bars. They have a slight ergonomic profile, a pleasantly squishy pattern that supports the palm of your hand, and a super tacky rubber compound. Now, thanks to consumer demand, they also have a new XL version for larger hands.
Depending on the size of your mitts, you may prefer thinner or thicker grips. The new Loam Grip XL is definitely on the thicker end of things with an average diameter of 34mm. They still have the same slightly tapered ergonomic shape with a mini-flange as the originals, just fatter all the way around.
Measuring 133.5mm long, the grips use a single bolt lock-on collar and have a closed-end to keep the weight to 120g per pair for the XL (up from 90g for the OG version).
Of course, the grips are available in black (Black Out, that is), but for those that want a more colorful option there are eight others to choose from:
- SAFETY ORANGE
- BLACK OUT
- SEAFOAM TEAL
- CEMENT GREY
- REALLY RED
- FRUIT SNACKS
- MOTO GREEN
- DESERT DUNE
- PACIFIC BLUE
The price remains the same at $24 for a pair, and the grips are backed by PNW’s typical lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects. Available now.
